When you use any Online services, you trust them with your information. The website or login you visit, collect certain type of information, most commonly the information you share by yourself. Such as Username, Password and other login information that you type at any login page.

The Privacy Policy Page may also state that how that information is used by the visited website, and what is the purpose behind stealing that information from you.
Therefore, always be careful, and remember to read the Privacy Policy of the website you want to use, login or visit.
